Full Journal pdf1996-05-01 Senate Journal Page 3740 HB 93 Message dated April 30 was read, stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendment to HOUSE BILL NO. 93 am An Act relating to the duty-free mealtime for teachers in certain school facilities and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely: SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 93(HES) 1996-05-01 Senate Journal Page 3741 HB 93 In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative James, Chair Representative Mulder Representative Kubina Senator Halford moved that the Senate recede from its amendment. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendment to HOUSE BILL NO. 93 am?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS HB 93(HES) Shall the Senate recede from its amendment to HB 93 am? YEAS: 10 NAYS: 8 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 2 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Hoffman, Kelly, Lincoln, Rieger, Salo, Zharoff Nays: Green, Halford, Leman, Miller, Pearce, R.Phillips, Sharp, Taylor Absent: Frank, Torgerson and so, the Senate failed to recede. The President appointed the following members to a Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator Green, Chair Senator Miller Senator Salo The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
